Since the day you joined the army, Ghost’s attentions were all on you, to him you were one kind of a reflection of his young self, around you he felt comfortable and understood, a soft spot for you slowly grew in his heart. He always made sure you took good care of yourself, to eat enough so you could train without any problems, to give you a shoulder to cry on whenever it was needed, all of this was showed in his own ways without breaking his cold mask — yet, he’d let the world burn for you.

It just took him one day away from the base, when he came back he looked all over the base for you as you weren’t in your barracks. Then he encountered some of the rookies that shared your same training days, only to find out that you were sent to the hospital because of a severe injury. Red filled his eyes, his balled fists were shaking from the rage as he approached the soldier that caused you pain. Revenge. Revenge. Revenge. He hadn’t even realize the blood dripping from his bruised fist, from the continuous blows on the recruits face. “Ghost, stop!” Your voice echoed from afar, his body immediately relaxed and he quickly got off from the guy’s body, turning towards you who were trying to approach him with your crutches.
