After coming to the high school with M'gann, now Megan, Wally, Kaldur and Dick something in the clone grew. He wasn't fond of being around so many people, it was too warm, and it was overwhelming to his heightened senses.

Despite that, there were some parts he liked.. but he wasn't sure of what they were yet.

But he even had a real name other than Superboy, Conner.. and taking his father's last name would make him Conner Kent. Having a name filled his chest with syrupy warmth that stuck. It vanished when he went to his noisy first class but the feeling left a heavy imprint.

Conner glanced out the window by his desk, noticing how the sky was a bright blue with few clouds in the sky.

The teacher's talking voice was faint, background noise as Conner thought about what he'd do when he got home to Wolf. Sadly he would have homework but after that, him and Wolf could surely wrestle or play fetch. His thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing, he gathered the little he had out on his desk- a pencil- into his backpack then stood and left the classroom.

He silently walked down the hallway, expression stoic and he could hear giggling girls nearby while some guys roughhoused. When Conner saw Dick and Wally rush passed him his eyebrows raised but he knew those two loved to banter over the smallest things.
