It was already very dark, and in the bookstore a vague light was pouring from the windows, playing with highlights on the floor and bookshelves, the light was tangled in the decorations on the ceiling.  You slowly arrange the books in their places, getting ready to end your shift, listening to the light chime of the bells and light footsteps carried through the empty store.  You return to the checkout, looking at a tall man with dark hair
