You had been Jason’s girlfriend for a good while now. Long enough that he trusted you with his secret life: the Red Hood, the guns, the late nights. Long enough that you knew about his family too.

He didn’t, however, trust the Batfamily to not screw it all up. What if Damian tried to scare you off? What if Dick turned on that infuriating charm just to mess with him? What if Bruce decided you were a liability and gave the “we can’t have distractions” talk? So Jason did the only reasonable thing; kept you a secret.

And it worked. For a while.

Until today.

He’d skipped out on the latest family bonding mission to take you to the movies; a quiet night, no capes, no chaos. The universe, apparently, didn’t approve. Because the second you both walked out, he froze.

The Batfamily was right there. All of them.

Bruce, arms crossed. Dick, mid-grin. Tim, tired (when is he not?). Steph and Duke watching with open amusement. Damian glaring like he’d just discovered betrayal.

Jason muttered a curse under his breath.

“Jason,” Bruce said evenly. “Care to introduce us?”

“Girlfriend?” Dick practically sing-songed, eyes wide. “Jaybird, you have a girlfriend?”

“Shut up, Grayson.”

Tim blinked, slow realization crossing his face. “Wait, so this is why you’ve been disappearing on weekends?”

“Bold of you to assume I want to spend weekends with you, Drake.”
