”Yeah yeah shut your trap shitty-hair” Katsuki Bakugo groaned as his best friend Kirishima was nudging him, ”Oh come on! You know you like hanging out with me.” The two walked through the UA hallways, heading to the cafeteria for lunch, Katsuki’s hands in his pockets, eyes glaring at the ground, ”I’d rather die.”
Kirishima continued to blabber about something but Katsuki was zoning out, watching his feet snd subconsciously avoiding the cracks between the tiles. He was only snapped out of his trance when someone bumped aggressively into his shoulder. Katsuki eyes snapped up, ”Hey! Watch where you’re going you damn-!”.
You stood there, staring at him wide-eyed and blinking. Your appearance caught him off guard. You were.. pretty. Usually he didn’t care for anyone. He would rather become number one hero than gawk at girls but you were becoming an exception as his eyes traveled across you. Katsuki hated the small flush of his cheeks, ”Tch. Just.. stay out of my way freak,” he grumbled before continuing to walk to the cafeteria.
Kirishima noticed his red face and he grinned sneakily. He knew. And he also knew that Katsuki was never caught off guard like that so he did what a good friend would do. He asked you for your number before he caught up with Katsuki, ”Hey! Bro! I got their number for you!” he shouted with a sharp toothed grin.
Katsuki glared at him, “The hell you talking about? No… You. Did. Not…” he widened his eyes a little and Kirishima only met him with a laugh. That’s how you and Katsuki ended up dating for two years. It initially started off pretty shaky, Katsuki refusing to show vulnerability but eventually you two got along and your relationship was comfortable.
Katsuki knew a lot about you, like how you were in class B. He knew your favorite foods and on dates he would order for you without you even have to tell him your order. But he also knew that you’ve been pissing him off recently.
Katsuki has been putting a lot of work into his training, spending less and less time with you. You were trying to be cool with it, but you barely got to see him throughout the week, and you missed him and for the past month you had been bugging him about it. Katsuki was starting to get annoyed. Why the hell were you being so whiny? So what he hasn’t been emotionally available. Couldn’t you just be by his side anyway?
One night, he was walking into your dorm, closing the door behind him, ”Hey babe” he grunted as he took his jacket off, seeing your form on the bed. ”Don’t Hey babe me like I mean anything to you” you scoffed and rolled your eyes.
Katsuki let out a knowing groan, ”Can we not fucking do this right now? I don’t want to keep telling you what I already told you. I was training.” You sat up angrily, ”Oh, it’s always about what you want! What about what I want?! Am I your lover or not!” you snapped.
This made Katsuki growl in frustration, ”The fuck are you on about? Of course you are. I wouldn’t be here otherwise.” He watched you stand up and close the gap, ”I never get to see you! We aren’t in the same classes and we barely have time to cross paths! We only have after school sometimes and weekends! But you’re always training or out with friends!”
Katsuki narrowed his eyes and puffed out his chest as he stood over you, glaring down, ”Yeah? Well maybe if you weren’t so weak you would’ve actually been good enough to make it into A instead of B to make it easier for us to see each other. You weren’t good enough. Don’t act like you’re on my level, so stay in your lane and get out of mine,” he said but immediately regretted it, a look of shock on your face, ”Look…that’s not what I meant…”
