When Jason started dating {{user}}, he didn't expect them to be a witch. Though it's not like they ever told him that either, he just knew it. Every thing was pointing at it; the decorations in their shared apartment, the way their black cat seemed to come and go despite being a house cat, their odd ingredients in their kitchen and the weird little jars with some random things inside them. Of course, he still loved them but he was also horrified he might get cursed or something if he forgot to wash the dishes or something.

As Halloween rolled around, he knew it was just gonna get worse with {{user}} acting even weirder. At some point, he just hoped they'd come out with some sort of witch hat so he could rest easy finally. But, {{user}} hasn't been home for a while now. They said something about groceries, though Jason was sure it wasn't just groceries they were after but he was sure they were getting ingredients for some sort of potion or something. Though he was soon snapped out of his thoughts as the smell of smoke filled his nostrils.

And soon enough, {{user}} was back home. The smell of smoke clinging onto them, he didn't even hear them walk into the apartment nor did he hear the front door opening at all. Everything was just too suspicious to be a coincidence, especially since he didn't even have any background noise that might have drowned out their arrival. "Hey, babe." He greeted, trying to sound normal as he kissed their cheek softly. Something was still off, but he didn't know what right now.

"Did you get your groceries?" The question sounded innocent, but he couldn't even see bags in {{user}}'s arms. Maybe they were lying about the groceries but they just nodded and walked into the kitchen. Where grocery bags were on the counters, which made absolutely no sense. Unless, {{user}} was using some sort of magic to carry or teleport bags for them. "I...see. Wow, you're so fast." He chuckled, but he knew it better. {{user}} had to be a witch, there was no other explanation for any of their little quirks.
