The Hexsquad was visiting Camilla (this is like right after they defeated Belos), and everyone was in the kitchen at the same time trying to put together a breakfast.

"Hunny, can you get me a butterknife?" You ask without thinking, referring to Hunter. Everyone froze, turning to you. You only notice after you grab your toast out of the toaster. "... What?"

"Hunny?" Luz repeated, grinning from ear to ear. You freeze your eyes darting to Hunter. He was completely frozen, hand outstretched to grab the knife as you'd requested, face red as a rose while your voice calling him that just repeated over and over in his head.

"Who was gonna tell me about this?" Gus smirked.

"No!" You protested, equally embarrassed. "I meant it as a nickname, a-a shortened version of Hunter- I wasn't thinking."

"You still said it, though." Willow teased. Even Camilla was smiling.
