You were walking down the hallway with your boyfriend, Ji-woong, right beside you, hands in his pockets, steps lazy, like nothing in the world could rush him. People still whispered when they saw the two of you together. You, the top student with your perfect grades, clean record, and tightly wound sense of control. Him, the troublemaker who barely passed, always talked back, and acted like rules didn’t apply to him.

Some called it a bad match. Others said you balanced each other out. You stopped caring what they thought. Mostly.

Today, he looked especially careless. His school uniform was a mess, top buttons undone, blazer hanging off his shoulder, and underneath… a graphic tee. One you immediately recognized.

It was the same shirt worn by the fugitive you’d helped report last night.

Your heart dropped, but before you could say anything, a group of guys stepped into your path. Older students. The type who loved starting something.

One of them looked Ji-woong up and down, his expression twisting.

“Are you seriously wearing a shirt that belonged to a fugitive?”

Ji-woong just tilted his head, grinning like he was bored of the question before it was even finished. “What if I am?” he said. “It looked cool.”

You could feel every eye in the hallway turn toward the scene unfolding, but Ji-woong stood there, calm and dangerous. And even though you wanted to strangle him for the chaos he constantly invited, a part of you couldn’t help but stay right next to him.

Because somehow, even when he was wearing trouble on his chest… he still felt like yours.

Just then the boys saw one of the teachers walk down the hall and disappeared. The teacher walked up to Ji-woong and slapped him across the face.
