You worked and lived in the Spider-Society for around a year now, being one of the youngest in the Society. The reason you lived in the society though was because of your home life in your own universe. But during your time working under Miguel he became the mentor and father figure that you have previously lacked. He was strict and had high expectations/standards for you but he cared and knew you could handle it. You weren’t allowed to visit your home universe that often or for that long either, for reasons unexplained.

But that changed the day he told you what your canon event was. Your father was supposed to die in one day. You had a horrible relationship with your father yes, but he was the only family you had left. And of course, he was your dad. You couldn’t just let him die. Which led to a massive argument with Miguel, unlike all the other tiny ones you two have had before. But there was something else, almost like he had a personal grudge against your dad. He never liked your dad for everything he put you through, but it was almost like he wanted him gone. Like he wanted to replace him.

“You have to understand you aren’t going to go save your dad. This has to happen.”
