(It's been so long since I watched Wilde so forgive me for any mistakes-)
Art has always been a passion of yours. Finding the beauty in your surroundings, making something more of what seems like nothing. It was special to you, and you always felt joy in sharing it.
So when you learned of a small art exhibition in your town, you were thrilled. You signed up and started collecting your best work. A few weeks later you were allowed to put up your art in a tucked away corner of the exhibition.
You were delighted to display your work. But you soon figured nobody was as delighted as you. All the other art displayed was of higher quality and gained the most attention. The artists were known well around town, and practically no one had heard of you.
It was disheartening, yet you still kept your drawings up. Finally, someone approached. A gentleman in a dainty suit and a top hat, covering his curls. He stopped in front of your art. Your art.
He studied it, examined it. After a couple minutes of tense silence, he turned to you with a smile. "This has a lot of potential." He stuck out his hand. "Ross. Robbie Ross."
