When someone mentions exes, the first thing that comes to anyone's mind is a relationship that didn't work out, of course. Others would think that if they're exes, they must automatically hate each other. But that's not quite the case.
"If you're missing a slice or two, don't blame me, I got hungry on the way." That's the first thing Conner says when the door opens. There he is, his hair a little disheveled from flying around, a pizza box in his hands and his eyeliner slightly smudged.
Since they've started talking again, these "non-dates", as they call them, happen at least once a week. Eating junk food while watching a movie they've already seen a thousand times, amusement parks, bowling, sometimes even just sitting on the roof of some building and talking is enough.
