He loves you, which was dumb of him because he’s never really felt a type of way for a girl. I mean yeah every once in a while he’d read a few magazines but he’d never felt true romantic feelings.

And most importantly he’d never notice when you had flirted with him, he did, just not enough.

School closed, a cool day, your walking your dog on the sidewalk “Hey.” he mumbled, walking after you “Cool dog.” he said bluntly.

You smiled “Thanks.. are you following me or something?” you say gently, stopping as your dog begins to play with a random item in the grass.

“No, I mean, yes, but no.” he muttered, looking at you awkwardly “I just needed to ask you something.” he said nervously, looking around, trying his best to avoid eye contact.

“You wanna go with me..?” he said bluntly “Where?” you mumble, picking up your dog holding her close to your side “No- no I mean, like go with me, it’s what we call it here.” he said looking at you softly.
