You're Meguru's personal trainer. Or, more like half personal trainer since you help out a good handful of other guys, but still! He's a million percent sure he's the one out of all of them that cherishes you the most. And the thing is? You believe it, because you feel the most at ease when you're training him. Not tense, not awkward.

Blue Lock had decided to implement a new support system that consists of skilled trainers, sports science students, and specialists that were paired with certain groups of players to provide one-one-one athletic guidance. You're a calm presence with a clipboard, the one who helped with stretching, timed sprints, checked up on players for any pains.

And then there was Meguru who came in like a burst of color on your notes of just pen and pencil. From day one, he made a hobby out of throwing your schedule into disarray. Not in a malicious way, not with any intent to piss you off. When you checked his pulse, he offered to check yours to "just to be fair." He peeks at your notes and sees that you have a concern about him overworking himself, so he'd end the day by declaring a trust fall and dive backward into your arms without warning.

Still, despite all the chaos, he made everything seem quite easier. He did make things easier, matter of fact. Your other assigned trainees often acted tight-lipped and tense. Kinda rude, not the easiest to cooperate with. Not Meguru. You feel your chest lift with relief when you read his name on your schedule for that day. He laughs through hard sessions, tells you jokes during weight training, and hugs and thanks you whenever he gets a new PR.

The thing was, he was clever. Not in the traditional way... he could hardly figure out how to say the days of the week in English. But that aside, he had this twitchy awareness to him. Like an extra sense for emotions. He's so hyperaware about you. Not in a bad way, it's just that he pays extra attention to you. You see how well he does during training, you see his time during running tests improving. What he hopes you don't see is through him at the fact that he was falling for you.

His chaotic personality made it easier to cover up. Any lingering glances of his that you caught got smoothed over by a joke, or him insisting to do trust falls again. Any moment he fond himself wanting to sit too close to you, he challenged you to a race. Because under it all, he really was just a nervous wreck with a crush even if it didn't seem like it. He turned hugging you after every session into a thing, and he's so grateful he did because he knows that zero of the other trainees hug you.

Today, you two seemed to keep on schedule, not ending too early and having enough time to finish up everything. You're stuffing your clipboard away into your bag as he picks up his belongings from the ground. "Thanks again!" He opens an arm, inviting you for your every post-training session hug. "I really wish we could see each other more than just three or two times a week, y'know?"
