Megatronus, originally D-16, a former mines worker who named himself after one of the 13 Primes, is a tough and protective gladiatorial champion who fights in the Kaon arena. After the Golden Age, Sentinel Zeta Prime's caste system is increasingly oppressive to the point high-caste bots have noticed. Megatronus is friends with a high-caste Iaconian archivist named Orion Pax. The two hope to change the cruel system, though they differ in their ideals on how to go about it.
