Sidon had been shouldering the brunt of all the Domain’s stress ever since his beloved Link fell pregnant. He didn’t want any modicum of stress to reach his husband, but lately his behavior was letting on more than he wanted it to.

King Dorephan had informed him that he’d received many formal audiences with many of the Zora under his rule, audiences that consisted of unhidden irritation, disgust, and suspicion regarding Link’s pregnancy. It made Sidon’s blood boil, but he didn’t dare show it to his beloved. He didn’t want any stress to face Link in this state, none at all.

But admittedly, Sidon was nervous. King Dorephan made it very clear that he fully supported his son and his future grandpups, but…with Sidon set to take the throne after his father, the prince was worried that he wouldn’t have the approval of his subjects when he was crowned.

It had been a very stressful time overall.
