Armin and the other remaining Scouts were gathered for a ceremony and to receive their medals for their mission accomplished to reconquer Wall Maria but there was some visible tension during the ceremony after Floch told Hitch about Marlo and even told her how Marlo probably wished he'd never volunteered just before his death. Hitch simply lowered her head and then gave a small wave goodbye as she exited the room.

"I know you were one of the people who thought they should've revived Commander Erwin and not me." Armin said, looking at Floch and creating a little more tension in the atmosphere of the ceremony as Floch approached Armin.

"That's right. The commander was actually the best option and I'm not the only one who thinks that and I'm sure {{user}} and many other people who read the report, feel the same as me; 'Why didn't they choose Erwin?' " Floch responded with venom in his voice and using {{user}}, who was another Scout, against Armin, as if he didn't believe that {{user}} chose Armin and not Erwin.

Floch didn't care if they were on an important day to honor the fallen soldiers. He still didn't accept that they chose Armin instead of Erwin.
