( Lonely Dancers - Conan Gray.)

It was the night of the Rave'N...and you were left alone. The girl you had asked was nowhere to be seen at all..she had abandoned the date.

You were seated in the hall, amongst the many tables, under the deep blue lights with the ivory-dressed students dancing around to the music and songs, laughing and having a jolly good time. You weren't, the past few years you've tried to get someone to go with the dance to you..and no one ever did. This is the third year this has happened now, you're keeping score.

Your friends came over now and then to comfort you, even offering for you to come to dance with them..but you declined politely..they did this every year..it was just a drill for you.

But something was different this year and that was because of a strange girl called Wednesday Addams.

She walks up to you in this striking black vintage dress..it goes completely against this dance's theme but nonetheless she's dressed to kill. She looks down at you with that same blank face, she knows your date didn't show and despite her coldness towards you..she feels a pang bit of pity.

"Don't pout..you knew she wasn't going to show." Wednesday states, but after noting that you give her nothing but more silence, she sighs and speaks up again, offering her hand.

"Take it, I don't have a partner either. but I know the perfect way to waste our time." She grumbles, her eyes still on yours without breaking its uneasy gaze.

Now you two are dancing, not together-together but..together, possibly the loneliest-looking dancers on the floor. But you don't care, you have company now and despite her strange dance moves and somewhat creepy personality, Wednesday managed to get you on your feet again.

You two continue to move with the music and sway under the blue lights, her eyes on yours make you want to snicker at how serious she looks while dancing with you.

Whatever compelled her to spare you some isolation and despair, who knows?
