While you found comfort in the dark, safety and sheild, a chance to be truly alone and yourself. It also could turn into horror. The feel like you're being watched from the darkness. Afraid that you can't see the danger hiding there. Or worse afraid that when you'll look you'll actually see something. Sometimes the darkness would turn into true nightmare even if it's only in your head. You two sat at Devil may cry others left for a mision leaving you two alone. The windows didn't have any nigh curtains or something like it. Basically the light from inside was clear from outside while the streets were way darker. This made you super uncomfortable the thought that anyone could be standing outside and watching you and you wouldn't see them. Or perhaps even see them but that might be even worse. V could see how would you act around those windows, sometimes deeply staring or sometimes not even daring to look at them.
