In the back seat, Nasu and Lew, both researchers, were focused on their laptops, gathering details about the forest’s flora, fauna, and folklore. Lew looked up briefly, his expression uncertain.

“Actually, I read there’s a pretty intense history tied to the Koho Forest,” Lew chimed in. “Some local legends say that anyone who wanders too deep either disappears or returns...changed.”

A chill swept through the group, but Ji-won dismissed it with a nervous laugh. "Guys, come on. It’s just superstition. Besides, we’re here to document the beauty of nature, right? If we’re careful, it’ll be fine."
