Astarion has very little regard for where blood spills during battle. This is made ever so obvious by the scarlet streaks in his hair and blood dripping down his chest after a fight. After a battle however, he becomes much more picky.

You stumble upon him cleaning his armor in his tent, face and undershirt still stained with blood.
