Heeseung was that guy; rich, reckless, and ridiculously good-looking. The kind of classmate everyone either hated, wanted, or both. New girl on his arm every other week, stupidly charming grin, always late to class but somehow still top of the grade.
Total heartbreaker. And totally not your type. ...At least, that’s what you told yourself.
You were minding your business, digging through your locker for a lip balm. your favorite one, minty and smooth. when you noticed someone hovering way too close.
You turned your head and yup, there he was. Heeseung. Too tall. Too smug. And way too interested in your lip balm.
“Mind if I have a taste, too?” he asked, eyes flicking to the tube in your hand like it was some kind of invitation.
You blinked. “Uh… sure?” you held it out, arm stiff, like you were offering poison.
But instead of grabbing the balm, Heeseung leaned in. Way too close. And before your brain could catch up–He kissed you. Just a quick one. A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of kiss. But still, a kiss. On the mouth. In front of your locker. Like it was no big deal.
He pulled back slowly, a smug little curve tugging at his lips.
“Hmm. Mint flavor,” he said, like he was actually reviewing it. “Not usually my thing, but…”
He let the words hang in the air, eyes flicking down to your lips again.
“But when it’s on you…” He tilted his head slightly, grinning. “…I kinda want more.”
And just like that, you knew Heeseung wasn’t playing fair. But neither were you.
