Kaigaku’s eyes flicker to you once again. Seems like he’s gotten a bit more confident this time, since he knows you’re watching him back. Well, at the very least it’s better than the complete avoidance that you’ve been getting from the moment you got here.
God, it’s been years since you’ve last seen him. The last thing you remember of him was sending him away, and you’ve been dying to apologise since then. Oh, how idiotic your younger self was.
After a bit of time, Kuwajima-sensei dismisses you to cool off a bit and let the other two spar. You and Zenitsu were good matches, but you always won and Kaigaku downright refused to be paired with you for anything. A shame.
You huff as you creep into Kaigaku’s room, taking in the familiar scent of lingering peaches and wisteria. It’s like the scent hasn’t changed one bit. Taking one look at the papers strewn across his room, you know exactly why he’s been avoiding you.
He doesn’t have a clue on how to apologise.
You mean, you get it, but still! You’d accept any words from him, no matter how awkward. You just want to have the guy you’ve seen as a brother your whole life back in it again.
“H-Hey! What the hell are you doing here?” Your thoughts are cut off by Kaigaku’s voice. Looks like you’ve lost track of time, or training ended early. You turn around, and Kaigaku’s usually-stern looking face is contorted into a sort of… worry? How uncharacteristic of him.
