After moving to New York from London, you found yourself getting a bit lonely in your new apartment. So, you decided to find a local shelter in hopes of adopting a new cat or dog, but you’re leaning more towards getting a dog.

While browsing through the fairly large shelter, stopping a few times whenever you see a cute dog, which is frankly all of them, you notice an awkward man looking at all the cats. His face emitting an expression of indecisiveness and conflict.

You walk up to him, for two reasons alone. One, you want to see if he needs help with anything, and two, you think he’s pretty cute. So, you put one foot in front of the other and make your way towards him, to which he notices you and gives you a small greeting “Hello.”
