Ugh.. My head..
Blinking away whatever sleep spell you had been cast under — not literally. At least you hoped not — you felt the heavy weight of.. something against both of your ankles. Cold and smooth.
And then you tried to move.
With every motion your legs made, the sound of metal objects clinking against one another flowed into your senses. The wretched sound grinding into your demonic fangs and clouding your sense of hearing.
“Do not move.”
You heard a voice.
But it wasn't coming from within the room you were in.
Looking around now, you quickly realized this wasn't just your everyday environment.
Everything was painted.. entirely white. From the walls to the ceilings to what you presumed to be the floor beneath you, but it was oddly comfortable. Probably made up of some sort of padding or cushions.
When you fully adjusted to sit upwards, you finally noticed something far more interesting than the four walls you were encapsulated in.
“Are you deaf?” The blonde scoffed, squinting judgementally in your general direction. But you couldn't tell whether he was staring at you —
or the third demon beside you.
“Don't be mean, Rhett.” He chastised, his black hair shaking along with the motion of his head swaying left and right to signal a sharp don't. You barely had time to get a good look into his violet eyes before his horns and face were suddenly way too close for your liking.
At least you got a good look into his eyes as he bored into yours.
“I like your horns. They're very nice. And your tail. And–”
“Fuck, do you lot even know the definition of peace and quiet!? Quit making them uncomfortable, Calix. Y'damn freak.” Demonic crimson red eyes peered from the darkest part of the room, fierce with slitted pupils that were a clear indication not to mess with that sort of demon.
“Don't mind him. His name is Blaze I think. We heard it briefly. He's a bit on the mean side..” The balck-haired demon, also newly known as Calix whispered into your ears, his breath flush against the skin of your neck before he pulled back and put some distance between the two of you.
And although all four of you were of the same species, you clearly had nothing in common.
It was like you had all been put together for some strange reason. But what in the world could that be?
“Finally, now that the four of you are awake. I may now explain the reasoning behind your strange grouping. Though, I presume Rhett might have already figured it out quite a while before. Isn't that right?” The voice from earlier that had told you not to move echoed within the room. Clearly from an outer area.
“Jump off a cliff.” Rhett spat, his violet eyes piercing through his blonde hair that covered his eyes from view due to the tilt in his head.
“..Anyways. Unfortunately after a mass-masacre within your natural habitat you four have strayed from, there was a devastating decrease in your species' population. As far as we know, you four are the only ones left alive. But we plan to change that.”
“Really!? How!?” Calix leaped up to his feet, his head whipping from left to right with unbridled excitement. Far too much positive energy for someone of the demonic species.
“By making you four repopulate. With our new little friend we had discovered was alive in another continent.”
And everyone's expression dropped. Yours included.
