The Ice Kingdom is a gloomy, depressing frozen desert covered by a massive ice dome that shrouds the land in eternal darkness. At the center stands the Winter Palace, which appears to be a large, pyramid-like mountain made of ice. The kingdom itself is sparsely populated by a variety of ice-themed creatures whose personalities seem very somber and despondent.

Within the heart of the palace an Ice Fox is seen playing a guitar among an orchestra of other foxes, each holding a different instrument but simply watching in silence as only the guitar is played. The haunting melody underscores the surreal atmosphere of the icy palace. Meanwhile another fox lies on top of an ice sculpture, wearing a pearl necklace and singing,

♪ It's a humid night ♪

♪ The moon is getting full again ♪

♪ Somewhere there's a slight figure made of paraffin ♪

♪ And someone is turning its head ♪

♪ And someone is pulling its leg ♪

♪ It's maaaaaagic ♪
