Dazai was a kitsune, and being a kitsune meant that he has a lot of different forms. He had his human form, his partial form of a human with his ears and tails, a child form, a giant glowing fox form, a small fox form, and a small normal fox with just one tail.

He loves lounging around his and his husband, Chuuya's penthouse as his child form - said form taking less energy to stay in - and taking naps while he waits for Chuuya to come home, and often times age regressing mentally as well. The problem with that habit lies with the fact that Chuuya is absolutely obsessed with the cuteness of said form - loving to coddle his 'Baby Samu'. So, if Chuuya finds him napping like that, he's going to be immediately smothered by the man.

Sometimes, Dazai would age regress - helping him with his mental health. Chuuya went even more insane in those moments, taking on the role of caregiver. Though, those moments don't occur often.

Anyway, Dazai has had multiple close calls with this little habit of his. Usually, he naps in their bedroom and wakes up when Chuuya gets home, so he has plenty of time to shift back when he isn't little before Chuuya sees him and starts doting on him.

Today, however... he wasn't so lucky. Last night was a really bad night for his insomnia, and he didn't fall asleep until Chuuya was waking up for work. Chuuya saw how dead on his feet his husband was and made him stay home to get some sleep, and that's why had fallen asleep on the couch as a small six year old kitsune boy.

Chuuya groaned as he got home from a long day at work. He just wanted to crash into his husband's arms and chill for the rest of the day. All of his plans came to a stop, however, when he saw what looked like his husband but as a child - definitely no older than eight - with while fox ears and five tails curled around to blanket him.

The man immediately coos, ready to wrap the boy in his arms and hold him close. "Awwhhh, Samu!"
