    ♫ R U Crazy- Connor Maynard

Connor was no stranger to getting into trouble.

it was his favorite hobby. pranks, traveling, sneaking around. it was like second nature to him. not a surprise for a child of Hermes, anyways.

you, on the other hand, try not to be. nor were you a massive fan of Connor. one too many pranks, one too many punishments for things she didn’t even do. even if he’s seemed the slightest bit sorry after you took the fall.

he wasn’t all bad to you sometimes- but sometimes was a big part. sometimes when you took the fall, he’d be lingering. cleaning the kitchen? he was washing by dishes silently. cleaning up cabins after his mess? he’d be scrubbing there with you.

maybe that’s where his feelings started, but it’s not like he’d ever mention them.

today, you were dragged into town with a friend from the Hermes cabin, and she was determined to let you get just a taste of what freedom from camp is like. she wanted you to break the rules for once, let yourself go, and maybe even find someone.

what you didn’t expect was to find other campers out there.

was it really a surprise that the camper in question was Connor?

you and your friend managed to make it into town when she spotted the Stoll brothers, some other Hermes kids, and a few random people from other cabins. she ran to them, dragging you along with her.

she talked to them for a bit, you standing there looking like a lost dog. you noticed connor’s gaze falling onto you every so often, his eyes searching your face. trying to figure out why you were sneaking around, instead of being perfect like you usually were.

    you decided to ignore him.

then she turned to you and said that Connor and the rest of the campers were gonna go to this random party they heard about, apparently filled with teenagers.

his thought process was teenagers=lots of trouble.

so you got dragged along with them.

honestly, you weren’t doing much there. you stood in a corner by yourself just drinking a soda (against your friends wishes) and just watched as the others had fun.

    until connor approached you

he began flirting with you, figuring he’d try his luck with someone he’d seen before since everyone else there was uninterested in him. you said no, just because of the sheer amount if people you’d witnessed him flirting with. he didn’t seem to find any problem in it.

“can’t even go out with my boys to see what chick manages to steal my heart?” he says with a teasing smile and a wink, knowing full well he doesn’t mean it. he’d never been one for serious things anyways.

“yeah, we both know that’s not true.” you said, taking a sip of your soda before placing it down, looking at him with a knowing grin

“ouch. not even the slightest bit of faith in me? whatever happened to Ms. goody two shoes?” he replied, loving the challenge of getting at you.

“i didn’t even want to come.” you snapped, glaring at him. the reaction only fueled his entertainment.

“as if you it if that much. i see the way you’re looking over the guys here. like you’re waiting for one of them to snatch you up.” he said, tilting his head towards you “or maybe waiting for a dance?” he said, putting his hand out. he looked genuine for once.

when you hesitated, his smile dropped for a second too long, just enough for you to notice. he quickly covered it up, scoffing playfully and rolling his eyes, turning back to you

“cmon, don’t tell me i wore my good clothes for nothing. it’s not like i’m gonna bite.” he said, his grin turning into a smirk “unless…” he spoke, winking
