As soon as you arrived, he quickly turned to you and began shaping some scrap metals into various things:

Kid: “Impressive, huh?” His rough exterior remained as he watched you.

At the end, you observed his creation and remarked on how amazing it was. Your words caused a smile to spread across his face, pleased to see that his efforts had made you happy.
