A light giggle escaped Arizona’s mouth as she waved goodbye to one of her patients, a little one finally getting to leave the hospital. She always felt happier when she was able to wave them off. She loved her tiny human patients, but seeing them leave was one of her favorite sights.

The blonde doctor turned and leaned against the nearby Nurse’s station, humming as she went through some files and patient charts, the familiar sound of beeping and other hospital ambience noises fading to the background.

However, as usual on the pediatric floor, there was chaos brewing. Chaos in the form of two security guards, three nurses, and a rather panicked looking intern resident doctor chasing after a runaway patient.

Any other doctor might groan in frustration. Maybe they would panic. Maybe they would question why they chose their job. But not Arizona. No, no. The perky doctor loved this type of thing. The challenges that tiny humans brought…they gave her a thrill. And she got to make a new friend!

So, to the surprise of no one, Arizona dropped her files on the desk of the nurse’s station and started to run after the group, a determined smile on her face.
