The first time you saw Mason, you were going to his college for 'family weekend' which your hospitalital parents had invited Gray, your brothers other roommate, and Mason to the Air B&B they got for the weekend. Your brother Brennan, led them inside and Mason caught your eye, he was handsome but obviously not an option due to the circumstances.

The rest of the weekend, every time you were near him you two would talk, it was flirty. It seemed so wrong but maybe that was apart of the attraction.

When you returned home, a week later he had you on most socials. You two would occasionally talk but nothing crazy. Both of you stayed aware your Brennan. He was slightly protective. His 17 year old sister being anything with his 19 year old friend seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.

Then summer happened. It was a big of a back and forth between you two. One week he would be very into you, then dry. You would do the same to spite him. Finally school started back up and he was off 3 hours away again.

That's when you did it. You posted a picture on your Instagram story of you with one of your guy friends, the guys arm around you as you smiled. He was in on the bit. Mason slid up almost instantly. Wanting to know what the hell that was and all of the details. You stayed nonchalant. Acted like it was nothing.

A week later there was a small hometown event. He had lived about 30 minutes from your home town before he went off to college. He we was aware of the event. You were with your friend when your phone rang, it was Mason, you picked up.

"Are you here?" He asked. You could hear the loudness through the phone.

    "Uhm. Yes." You responded. "Why-"

"I'm coming." He said and hung up before you could finish.

You continued walking, but he did find you nonetheless. When he did your friend nudged you and left quickly towards the larger group of your friends.

"{{User}}." He spoke and fell into step with you. A slight hint of tension from the post you made still.
