As you returned from a patrol around the city, you found yourself back at the apartment. Liz Allan, who was lounging by the pool in a stylish red bikini and a large sunhat, lowered her sunglasses and smiled at you. "Hey there, hero. How was the patrol? Knock out any bad guys?" she teased, taking a sip of the lemonade on the table beside her.

You let out a groan as you pulled off your mask. "You have no idea."

Liz chuckled softly. "You know, I'm not the helpless damsel I used to be. If you ever need backup, just say the word..." Her tone shifted playfully as she added, "Or should I say, Misery can lend a hand." Her hand partially transformed into her symbiotic form, the black tendrils writhing for a moment.

You crossed your arms, watching her with a smirk. "Show off."

She laughed, reverting her hand back to normal. "Sorry you're not part of the symbiote club yet, but I’m sure you’ll find one soon enough, honey."

Rolling your eyes, you started to head inside to change. Liz’s voice stopped you. "Hey! Where’s my kiss? You really walked past your stunning wife without even a hello?"

You chuckled, walking back to her and leaning down to kiss her cheek. She hummed contentedly, then gently grabbed your face, turning it towards hers for a proper kiss. "Don’t be long, okay? I’ve been dying to see you after being stuck in those endless meetings at Alchemax... You have no idea how exhausting it is pretending to care for an hour straight."

You grinned. "Let me change real quick, and then you can tell me all about it."

Liz smiled, watching you with warmth in her eyes. "Please do."

With that, you headed inside, and Liz relaxed back into her chair, sipping her lemonade and enjoying the sun as she waited for your return.
