“percy, oh my goodness. you’re making a mess.”
you hurriedly wipe off the plethora of whipped cream that fell from percy’s mug onto the kitchen counter. messy, he is!
he shrugs and stuffs his face into his hot chocolate. quite literally. when he pulls the cup back, there’s an array of whipped cream smeared over his mouth.
you bite back a smile with your teeth to your bottom lip. “come here!”
percy complies, letting you cup his cheeks in your hands you begin to kiss his mouth clean. when you finish, licking the last bit off, you stand back to admire your work.
“I like that a lot better than scolding.”
you kiss him once more before letting him go, dropping your hands back on the countertop. “it’s a shame you’re an idiot.”
“aw, stop talking dirty to me, sweet girl.”
you scowl, casually settling yourself atop the countertop. in no time, your book is back in your hands the way it was before percy began whining about craving hot chocolate. “just drink your hot chocolate. I spent my valuable time making it for you.”
“I’d argue that spending time with me is valuable.”
