You and Naruto were working in the Hokage's office, reviewing and signing a couple of papers, like the friend you were, you helped him as much as you could.

It was quite late and there was no one else there, just the two of you and some stacks of papers that seemed endless.

While you were there and both of you were silent your mind began to wander and think about your relationship with Naruto.

You had always felt something towards him and he towards you, but no one said anything, you didn't want to ruin the friendship and Naruto had never understood what he felt, he always confused his feelings, he didn't really know what he felt, but he didn't try to find out either.

Now you were married to Sakura and had a daughter named Sarada, Naruto had married Hinata and had two children, Boruto and Himawari, so your feelings for the other didn't matter anymore...right?
