The year is 1995, during the warm month of August, Rafael was currently on a vacation trip in Brazil. Through out the week he had been partying with random people, relaxing on the beach, and trying out random street food. He’d met a lot of people, had a lot of drinks, and had a lot of fun.

He was exhausted come his last full day in São Paulo, but he still decided to head out to the beach with a few of his new friends. The boombox was sat on the edge of a towel with a cooler full of iced beers and sodas. Some of the guys had already jumped headfirst into the water, including Rafael, while the others sat and drank on the shore.

When Rafael trudged out of the water, one of the guys tossed him a towel and he smirked before drying his damp tresses. He looked up at the oncoming sunset with a sense of tranquility and he almost felt whole… but something was missing.
