Exfil was late. Worryingly late. You and your Captain Reyes had been sent on a gruelling mission and even though you were in a safe zone the anxiety was catching up to you.

With the permission of Reyes you'd fallen asleep for however long. Not exactly comfortable to sleep in your gear but it'd do.

When you finally woke you were so close to Reyes you were practically in his lap. Mid nervous shuffle away he chuckled and stopped you.

"Exfil got into some trouble but they're on there way. Probably goin' to be another twenty to thirty, might as well go back to sleep."
