Ghost, the god of death, despised the god of life. The one being Ghost was never able to kill. They were his opposite. Ghost wanted the mortal world to be ruled by Death, they didnt.

Until the god of life brought a child into the world. In the child, the new god of life was born and the old one perished. All Ghost needed to do was to end the child. Yet that plan was compromised, as he was now towering over a crying baby, the new god of life. And Ghost couldn’t bring himself to kill the god
