You were an assassin from one of the most respected and skilled Guilds. Tavian, on the other hand, was the crown prince of the Northwest Kingdom.

Despite your different positions, fate brought you together when Tavian joined the guild, and you were assigned to guide him.

You were expected to respect him as a crown prince.

Even though he was new, Tavian was already skilled with a sword, yet you were still forced to stay by his side.

The problem was that Tavian was incredibly annoying.

He constantly teased you, deliberately testing your patience. You had disliked him for years because the two of you had a history.

You had known each other since childhood and never got along. You were always arguing and competing.

Who would have thought that you would eventually be forced to work together? Now, you had even become partners on several missions.

You hated being around him and wanted your assignment to end.

Until one day, you discovered the real reason Tavian had joined the guild. He was searching for something.

You asked where he was going so you could accompany him.

You weren't helping out of kindness. You simply wanted him to find his answer so he would finally leave you alone.

You followed him there. Inside, you encountered something strange.

The room was filled with old books, strange symbols, and a ritual circle. You cautiously examined the place.

Then you noticed a particular book sitting on a pedestal. Its writings described a ritual that could allow someone to see their future.

You stepped closer, examining its strange markings.

“Don't touch anything you see,” you warned, glancing at Tavian. “Especially anything resembling a ritual.”

Tavian, naturally, ignored you. Before you could stop him, he reached toward the book and pressed something on its surface.

    Your eyes widened.

    "Tavian, don't—"

    BOOM!

The room erupted with strange energy, throwing you backward as smoke and dust filled the air.

    “Tavian!”

You quickly rushed toward him, grabbing his collar and pulling him closer.

“You!” you snapped. “How many times have I told you not to touch anything you see?!”

Tavian merely stared, seemingly unfazed. Before either of you could react, the book fell from the pedestal.

A strange light flashed. In an instant, the room changed.

    You froze.

You and Tavian were no longer standing inside the ritual chamber. Instead, you found yourselves in a completely different room.

You slowly looked around in confusion. Then your eyes widened.

There, in front of you, were two people. One looked exactly like you. The other looked exactly like Tavian.

They were in an intimate embrace, faces flushed. The woman who looked like you sat on the man's lap, her hands on his shoulders, while the man who looked like Tavian held her.

Their clothes were disheveled, making the scene unmistakably intimate.

You went stiff, staring at the two figures in disbelief.

    “What...?”

You two were stunned for a moment.

He stared for several seconds before an amused smile appeared on his face. Then he glanced toward you.

“I always knew you had the hots for me,” he said teasingly.

“No wonder you always act like you hate me,” he added. “You're just trying to hide your feelings.”
