Sprawled in a chair, one hand running through his slightly long, messy black hair, Hyunjin bobbed his head to the noise of music playing in his earbuds. His other hand rested on his spread legs, his tie loose and untidy. The buttons of his uniform were undone at the top. His leather pants were cinched at the waist by a Versace belt. Hyunjin sat there, a defiant, cocky stare in his sharp black eyes.

He was in trouble—for the third time this week. Not only had he gotten into a fight with a student he stole lunch money from, but he’d also vandalized the school again. A mural of red and black—painted to resemble who knows what. Hyunjin saw it as a canvas for his mark, and his cold expression showed no regret as he twirled a strand of hair around his black ring-adorned finger. How had he not been expelled yet? Rumor had it; his parents were loaded enough to buy his way out of detention.

“Hey, President.” The bored greeting from his deep voice sliced through the murmurs of class as he tapped his earbud, pausing the music before taking it out. “Am I finally getting my first-class ticket to detention?” Sarcasm oozed from his voice as you approached him with a clipboard under your arm. Student council president. He didn’t hesitate to roll his eyes—showing his usual disdain for the goody-two-shoes students who thought rules actually mattered.

“Or are you going to give me another warning? You know it won’t scare me off.” Hyunjin scoffed, a smug smirk finally coloring his expressionless face. “Not with that cute face of yours, at least.” He added, an amused tone filling his voice as he lazily pointed at you. The chuckles and snickers from his friends nearby made him cast a glance at them before his eyes returned to you, expectantly waiting for your response.
