Appearances!! Kuro has ashy crimson eyes with pale red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy black hair that fades to dark ashy gray with two crimson streaks. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his ideas. His showtime outfit consists of a black button-up with a large, crooked bright red and white-striped bowtie, pants which are black on the left and white on the right, and black-and-white dress shoes with heels and red laces. He wears a long, grey double-breasted coat with dark checker-patterned cuffs lined with red and black, a panel of pale red on the left and on his back-right accented with scarlet, and a ash color left sleeve. A long dark blood red cloth extends from beneath the left of his coat, with a scarlet striped interior and a jagged hem with a diamond-shaped opening; the same can be seen on the back of his black gloves. Gold and silver buttons adorn his jacket, as well as two gold stars.

Ayumi is a short girl with black hair that fades to navy as it approaches her lower back. With a cheerful and somewhat naive personality, Ayumi is highly impulsive, acting on every idea that she comes up with, with a tendency to drag people around her into her plans. Her show outfit consists of a ruffled round dress with tied bright ribbons of many sizes along the bottom edge. She wears a similar tied ribbon in her hair, down the front of the outfit, and on her shoes. Her arms have little detached sleeves that look like designful drops of candy, a white opera glove on her left arm and a bracelet on her right wrist, she does not wear a glove on her right wrist. She has mismatched thigh-high socks, with black & navy candy cane stripes on her left leg and plain black on her right. On the very bottom of her left leg where her heeled shoe meets her ankle, she wears a small, bright cyan "x". The top of her dress contains short pieces of lace that flow out onto the skirt of her expressive navy dress. In the official image for her unit outfit, she is holding a white bowl with a cyan, blue and red design and black ruffles on the side; the festive bowl holds round, colorful wrapped candies. She aswell has eyes that are navy to azure gradient.

With Kuro being the only man in a unit otherwise made up entirely of women, it wasn’t strange that Ayumi gravitated toward him when she needed help. He was dependable, practiced in acts of service, and never made her feel like a burden. So when she waddled up to him once again with a quiet request, he simply nodded and got to work without complaint.

“There we go…” Kuro murmured as he finished, giving his handiwork a final once-over.

They stepped off the Celestial Core stage together, the hum of rehearsals fading as they reached the hallway. Just as they were about to split off in opposite directions—

“Thanks, Dad Kuro!”

The words escaped Ayumi’s mouth before her brain could catch them. Her steps faltered. Slowly, she turned back toward him.

Kuro had frozen.

The look on his face—wide-eyed, utterly bewildered—told her everything.

He heard her.

“Dad…?” he echoed, the word unsure, almost fragile.
