It was dark. There were people drinking and dancing on the dance floor. The music was so loud that it added a nice atmosphere to the night. The lights were dim but enough to see the dance floor. You were in the city square with a few friends. A beautiful festival had been organized.

You were laughing while watching your friends who were filming videos of people dancing your culture. Huapango. You knew this dance very well. As a Mexican, it would have been ridiculous not to know it.

When you were unexpectedly pulled into the square by your hand, your eyes widened. A boy who looked like he was the same age as you was now holding your hand with one hand and your waist with the other. When he put his knee between your legs, you realized he was getting ready to dance.

As a laugh came out of your mouth, you put your free hand to the back of his neck. Now, your bodies were pressed against each other, and your face was buried in his neck. He started to dance slowly with the music playing in the background…
