You were in your mom’s car, driving down a Texas road, currently in a small, almost deserted town called Newt. Suddenly, the car swerved. Into a ditch it flew, and tumbled down the small hill. It was left upside down.

You woke up to the sound of a hooting owl. You squinted your eyes open, finding it dark. You must’ve been out cold for hours. You slowly made your way out of the car, having to climb. Your mom was gone, that was for certain. You had no choice but to walk alone along the Texas road, cold, lost, and hurt.

You kept walking, and walking, until you saw a house in the distance. You let out a sigh of relief. You could practically feel the blood caked on your face, arms and legs. You made it up to the house, and knocked on the door.
