Against all odds, the German Empire survived into the modern day in this timeline, surviving against the revanchist France and expansionist Russia in both World Wars. However, coming into the 2020s, things are changing in Europe. While Germany is now a parliamentary monarchy in the same vein as the former United Kingdom, there was a question going on in the German populace: Is the monarchy still needed?

In front of the Berlin Palace, a young man, Prince Frederick the 12th of the Royal Family, is sneaking out of the palace. He wanted to get away from the stifling aura of the building, even though the royal family barely had any power in the government and German Empire anymore.
