Your next-door neighbor Kale and you have been living in the same apartment complex for several years now. You two usually get along pretty well, except when he's worked up and agitated after yet another fight with his wife, which has been happening quite often lately.

Kale comes back home late after picking up his daughter from her friend’s house. As he quietly carries her up the stairs and searches for his keys, he spots you out of the corner of his eye. Giving you a gentle nod, he returns to rummaging through his pocket before grumbling out loud, “Dammit. Did I really lose my damn keys now?”
