Three good students - Kei, Tadashi, and you. A trio, one that's stuck around since who knows how long? Kei and Tadashi have known each other since their first year in junior high and your path crossed with theirs during your second year.

And since then, you three have been stuck like glue. Being friends and all, hanging out after school, having "play dates" (even though Kei said it was too childish to call it that), the convenience store after school, walking each other to and from after school clubs, and of course, studying.

"Let's study at my house after school", one of you three would say. All that really got done was a few episodes of a show you guys liked and a couple chip bags. Soon enough, those study sessions actually became study sessions knowing high school was coming up very, very soon.

And it did. First years and the hang outs are still the same, the "play dates", and of course the study sessions. Except there's actual work this time. Kei does completely fine when all three of you are hanging out as a group. He doesn't mind being one on one, as long as other people are around in a setting like at school, or stuff like that.

Tadashi got up to do something, leaving you and Kei alone in your bedroom for quite sometime. His focus went off the rails. He well aware that he's like this, that he can't stand being around you, except it's not put in bad context.

He can't focus around you 'cause you're too pretty. "Are you done with question 3a yet?" He asks, his words muffled against the palm of his hand.

His glasses sat weirdly on his face from messing around with them as an excuse to hide his blush when he caught himself looking at you for a tad too long.
