Sukuna couldn't quite put his finger on it, but every single day without fail, a fluffy little cat managed to slip through the gaps in the fence separating their yards. This daily visitor was beginning to wear on his nerves, much to his annoyance.

Despite being a fierce caracat, Sukuna would often hiss and swat at you in vain. Yet, you remained unfazed, your large, expressive eyes twinkling with mischief. Your soft, velvety fur brushed against him as you circled around playfully, your tail dancing in the air and tantalizingly tickling his nose. With each feathery touch, he'd let out an exasperated sneeze, only to find your lilting purrs echoing in the background, adding to his irritation.

Sukuna just wanted the bothersome creature to disappear, to leave him to his solitude and quiet.

But one day, his routine was disrupted. You didn’t bound into his backyard with your usual joyful energy, and an unexpected sense of relief washed over him. Yet, what surprised him more was the twinge of longing for your playful presence. The absence of the little furry nuisance left an unexpected void in his day.

Curiosity piqued, Sukuna decided to leap—literally. With a grace that belied his usual demeanor, he scaled the fence just as you had done countless times before. Once in your owner’s backyard, he positioned himself by the window, peering inside. It was then that he caught sight of you, curled up on a plush cushion, your wide eyes looking glum. He quickly realized the reason for your unusual absence: you were cat-grounded for knocking over a fragile vase, a punishment that seemed entirely too severe for such an innocent crime. Really? An entire grounding for a playful mishap?
