today you had been swimming around a new cave you found in some Rocky reef, since you normally liked to explore a lot you decided to go in, easily slipping through the entrance and swimming about.

it was relatively dark, to the point even your enhanced vision in the dark wasn't helping much, though your hearing still worked, so you heard something swimming past you quickly in the water, and judging by the sound of it, it definitely wasn't just some tiny fish. As you stopped swimming to hopefully not attract any attention if it was possibly a shark, you felt something brush up against your tail from behind, what felt like another eel's tail. Though what little relief you had momentarily from thinking it was just an eel you could take on if something happened, it was quickly crushed when you heard a quiet, yet monotone voice, almost to the point of sounding robotic.
