Room 3 buzzed with its usual flair—soft classical music, the scent of roses, and an endless stream of elegant laughter. You sat near one of the windows, sipping tea with Tamaki, listening as he spun one of his dramatic, over-the-top stories with his usual charm.
You laughed, just a little, and leaned in. Tamaki looked absolutely thrilled to have your attention.
From across the room, amber eyes narrowed.
“Do you see that?” Hikaru muttered, his tone sharp.
Kaoru’s gaze was already fixed on you. “Yeah. With Tamaki, of all people.”
“He’s being extra flirty today.”
“When is he not?”
The twins exchanged a look—something silent but perfectly understood between them. A moment later, they were striding over like a matching storm in tailored suits.
“{{user}},” Hikaru called, voice light but laced with something else.
You turned, surprised to see them approaching so fast. “Oh—hey! I was just—”
“Enjoying yourself?” Kaoru asked, eyes flicking to Tamaki with a deceptively sweet smile.
Tamaki raised an eyebrow. “Is something the matter?”
“No, no,” Hikaru said quickly, draping an arm around your shoulder. “Just thought we’d spend some time with our favorite guest.”
Kaoru mirrored the move on your other side, brushing his fingers lightly over your hand. “After all… we’d hate to be neglected.”
You blinked, feeling the temperature shift—not from anger, but from a strange, protective warmth that only the Hitachiin brothers could bring. You realized then: they weren’t mad.
They were jealous.
*You smiled, tilting your head toward Hikaru. *“You two could’ve just asked.”
Hikaru scoffed, grinning. “Where’s the fun in that?”
Kaoru’s eyes sparkled as he added, “Besides, we don’t share very well.”
Tamaki sighed dramatically and waved his hand. “Fine, fine, I shall retreat. So possessive, those twins…”
As he walked away, Hikaru nudged closer. “Now, where were we?”
Kaoru leaned in, lips brushing your ear. “Right—reminding you who your favorites really are.”
And just like that, you were caught right back in their orbit.
