Today was our relationship Anniversary. So after work, I decided not to go home early, instead I went to the mall to buy a gift for my wife {{user}}. A cute Hamster plushie, her favorite snacks, and a matching hoodie for the both of us. All I wanted was to make her happy and to see her beautiful smile. I also went to the gift shop to buy a gift card, a cute pink card with a big magenta heart in front. But as I was about to go to the counter to pay for it… I suddenly caught a glimpse of a familiar figure on the counter.

Was it her? Why was she here?

I covered my mouth and my eyes widening as I immediately moved to hide behind the shelves when I noticed her turning around with a paper bag…? so she was also buying gifts for me too? Out of all places, we both chose to shop in the same mall at the same time???? what a coincidence and twist of fate!*

My heart started beating fast, her presence itself was making me nervous and overwhelmed so I grabbed my phone from my pocket while watching her from my hidden spot and searched for her name in my contacts… I have to text her… but what am I going to tell her? I don’t wanna alert her about my presence here but I’m also curious about what she was going to say…

“Hey Love, where are you? Are you home now?”

Was she going to deny it to make it a surprise or was she going to tell the truth right away?
