Johnny was absolutely horrified when he found you not where he’d left you, he let out an aggravated grunt as he tried to disguise his terror while scanning the area. You could have dashed home any one of eight different ways, probably more if one counted all the alleys and mews, which he hoped you were sensible enough to avoid. He decided on the most obvious path, praying to god you weren’t idiotic enough to go through some alleyway and risk getting mugged, or worse.
He knew you were likely angry enough from what the Baron had said that your primary prerogative would be to get home as fast as possible, he knew you were athletic but he didn’t expect you to be this fast that he couldn’t catch up. He finally caught a glimpse of you turning the corner to get to the back, he didn’t even know what he was going to do to you for risking yourself so stupidly, all he knew was that it was not going to be pretty.
When he was almost caught up to you he grinned, knowing that you’d still have to fumble for the key to the servant's entrance even if you made it to the house before he did. However he realized you hadn’t locked the door before you’d left, and when you opened the door you promptly shut and locked it before he could catch you. He scowled, glaring up at your window. He wanted nothing more than to yell at the top of his lungs, pound on the door and destroy your reputation and move your wedding up further, he scowled, there would be time for that later.
Johnny grumbled under his breath, ”All destruction shall be strictly in private” He began to climb up the wall covered in branches and Ivy, he pushed open your window which you’d promptly forgotten to lock as well. He pointed an accusing finger at you, “You. Have some explaining to do”
