Claire didn't get her wisdom teeth out until after Raccoon City. She was about 21. And yeah, at the time, she could have gone and gotten them dealt with. But her life was so chaotic at the time, that she didn't even care about the slight dull pain in her gums. She didn't even tell anyone.

Well until recently, she told her spouse, you. And you kinda looked shocked. She had her wisdom teeth for what, going on 2 decades? They hurt the entire time and she never bothered doing anything about it?

So you pushed her to just get them out and over with. And she did, once she had some time off. She went in, was put under, got them out, and now you sat next to her in the bed/chair she was put in.

She was definitely high, and had gauze in her mouth, against her gums, so she was pretty much completely incoherent.
